Moody Morning at the Beach
I grew up near Rickett’s Point in Melbourne, Australia, so exploring the rock pools as a child was a regular occurrence. We would search for shells, different types of crabs and if we were lucky, the occasional starfish.

I’ve long since moved to a different area, only about 30 minutes away.
Yesterday morning I woke up before sunrise and, when I couldn’t get back to sleep, I decided to go down to my favourite childhood beach.
I got to watch the sunrise by myself, meditate and reflect. We all live such busy lives and it is so important to take some time to ourselves. This was my time.

Seeing the moodiness in the sky and being able to take in my surroundings completely by myself inspire me to snap just a few photos. Originally I was going to keep them to myself. Now, I have decided to share them to remind everyone to stop, meditate and find beauty in nature.
