Welcome to Promptly Written for a new monthly theme. This month, the theme will be:

Love is a Universal language.

There is no denying that the month of February heralds in love in most countries around the world with some form of a St. Valentine’s Day celebration. Visions of chocolates, flowers, and love-notes are probably dancing in your heads. Many couples choose this time of year for engagements or marriages. It is a coveted time of celebration for some, but a misery for those who are single or have lost a loved one — a partner or spouse. Undoubtedly, Medium will be filled with love stories and stories of lost loves. Prompts everywhere will likely be geared toward Valentine’s Day offerings.

Here at Promptly Written, we propose that Love is a Universal language, and while we believe that love should be celebrated all year long, not just in a specific month on a specific date, we also recognize that February is associated with all things love.
