In a world where value’s assigned, And commerce rules, a daily grind, Let’s pause a moment, take a breath, And delve into the realm of wealth.
Money, oh money, coveted prize, You shape our lives, you mesmerize. You hold the power to shape and mold, To bring us comfort or leave us cold.
Some chase you with relentless might, Day and night, they’re in your sight. They yearn for fortunes, shiny and bright, Hoping your embrace will bring delight.
But money, dear money, you’re just a tool, Neither good nor evil, but rather a fuel. A means to an end, a facilitator, To build a life, to achieve and cater.
Yet in your allure, some hearts grow weak, Obsessed with riches, they fail to seek The true treasures that life has to give, Love, laughter, and the joy to live.
For in the end, it’s not the cash, But the memories made and friendships amassed. It’s the kindness shared, the dreams pursued, The moments of connection that imbue.
So let’s remember, as we chase the dime, To keep our priorities in line. Money is but one piece of the game, But it’s the intangibles that truly proclaim
