“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing, and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off you.”

-Maya Angelou

When we are children, we have no real concept of money. We know that money is something Mum and Dad get as a salary for going to work every day. We know that money does not grow on trees, so sometimes we do not get everything that we would love to have like eating all the fast food and getting all the toys and video games we love. As children we also hear that “money makes the world go around”. Is there a connection between the rotation of the Earth, which somehow never seems to move, and money, those little bits of paper that every adult wants in the bank and in wallets and purses? Money is that precious commodity that everyone wants, a few people have some of it, while a few people have too much of it.

As teenagers, we know that earning money is serious business. If we want to get something, our parents inform us, that we need to do work to get a bit of pocket money. As adults, we later learn that money attracts money if you learn how to make your money grow. On the other hand, we also learn after some bitter lessons in life, that we need to be cautious with money. There are too many criminals waiting to make a fast buck. If you hear a great investment idea, that sounds too good to be true, then it is definitely a scam and you need to steer clear away from it.
