Money Is Temporary
Life is meaningless if all you think about is just money

All of us are trying our best to live a happy, rich and healthy life until we die. But does it make sense when you know that this life and whatever we do or get in this life is temporary.
Both yours and mine, birth and death are already destined. We don’t know when, but we surely know we are going to die someday. We are literally taking a risk when we go to sleep. How many of you are sure that you’ll sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow? To see the morning sun shining bright on to your face, welcoming you to a brand new day. But were you ever thankful to your God for giving you another day of life?
We laugh over happy times, cry over sad times, run behind money, worry about problems. That is the human nature, but everything in this life is temporary. It turns out that things we worry about the most are what we need the least in life. Problems are a part of life, they make you human. They give you the courage to over come challenges in your everyday life and move on. And money, is a problem too. We have been brainwashed and are acting like programmed robots. Always repeating the phrase "no money, no life". Is it true then that without money there is no life?
Yes, money is essential, but it doesn’t mean you have to be a rich bugger to live your life. What are you going to do with all that money? Buy a house, a couple of fancy cars, travel around the globe with your loved ones? Of course, you’ll be doing all this while having a large saving in your bank account which you probably don’t have an idea to spend at all. Not everyone in this world gives their money to charity. Most of the time, what your money does is, help your family buy you an expensive coffin when you die. Once you’re buried under the soil, you completely become a part of nature. Or else maybe if you’re cremated, yourself and your money becomes ashes — just like that. That’d be the end of your temporary life.

By appreciating and admiring a person or thing, you are automatically showing respect towards them. And giving respect is the only way you can gain respect too. NEVER do something to someone expecting something in return from them. You never know what kind of people you associate with. Maybe you know the face they show you, but you’ll never know what’s deep inside their hearts. Only God alone knows it (That is what I believe). You probably have come across a lot of people like that and sadly, sometimes they end up being your most trusted relative or friend. In the end, the love and respect you have towards them become temporary too.
Anyways, what does your temporary wealth has to do with a person’s respect? For example people come to your house asking for charity. Suppose you have a $5 and you give it. Your neighbour is rich and he gives $500. The society — being humans, respects your neighbour considering the amount he gave for charity. But what they don’t know is that you had only that 5$ in your hand which was probably your lunch money. Why judge a person with something he isn’t going to take back when he dies?

Temporary things vanish soon like how the footprints on the beach are washed away by the waves
You don’t have to be rich to have a big heart. Even if you don’t have a penny to give a beggar don’t forget to smile at him. Because usually people take beggars as a pain rather than thinking of them as fellow humans. Imagine yourself in the place of a beggar. You might have high hopes for your life. But what if unfortunately that is not what God has planned for you? What if you are suddenly a beggar in another five years time due to some kind of misfortune? How would it feel like when you beg for money or food & people shrug off with a disgusting look on their face?
When your business is going well you’ll have a lot of money and when it is going bad you would be broke and money less. Similarly, when a baby is born you feel happy but at the same time you feel sad when someone dies. But isn’t this feeling temporary?
Like I said, not everything is permanent, except your deeds and happiness. Good or bad, people remember what you did. If you did something bad for someone and apologize, they might forgive you but there is no guarantee that they will forget the pain you gave them.
Pain Is Permanent, No Matter How Hard You Try To Hide It
Knowing that almost everything is temporary in your life is something that worries the human mind a lot. Since we humans want a lot of things to last longer or last forever we feel down and discouraged when we know that we are about to lose something or when we have lost something or someone. Just because everything is temporary it doesn’t mean you should keep away or push them away. God has given us this life for two reasons. One, to do good deeds and worship him. Two, to appreciate, admire and respect things & people around us. Everybody has a different opinion of their own, I don’t know how you would think but this is how I take my life.
Money is not happiness and money can’t buy happiness. But money is temporary and happiness is permanent.
