Money And Creativity

Money and creativity, it is not even a question of what comes first. But to realize what satisfies you truly. For some making money is itself a joyful process, they love it and they are wired for it. They do not feel drained or sucked by the process.
But for others, it may not be the case. That only one can find out for themselves. If you do not fall in the first category but you are still held by the fear around money and inner conflict between creativity and money, then I hope this piece might be of some help.
Using fear to drive creativity
Make the fear around money or even any of your irrational fears as an excuse to jump into your creative work and not the other way around.
That is, do not make creative work into a cheap excuse to make money.
Does it make sense?
It simply means do not use creativity to make money but use fear around money to force you into the possibility of creative expressions within you. And be grateful that the fear is actually forcing you to exercise your creative potentials.
Extract money out of the creative process.
For some even though they might have creative potentials they might lack the confidence to actually start doing, in that case, fear around money is a blessing to get you to actually start engaging in creative work and forget oneself.
Fear around money is also a psychological fear or block if you can use that energy for the free flow of creative juices through your nervous system to your fingers and to the keyboard (if your process involves keyboard :) ), chances are you might feel better anyway.
Maybe you would even realize that this was all you needed and money was an excuse for some sort of fear, you might even have everything just enough for the moment, but too lazy to see that because of being caught up in the blackmailing voice in head driven by self-worth fears or other related fears and lack of basic trust in life.
Use your creative process as an opportunity to break free from such psychological limitations and distrust towards life. Why would life be against you when you are freely involved in something you are meant to do.
Do not bring your mental fears into your creative space. Just like you are not welcome to enter the church or temple with chappels, make sure you are not allowed to enter into a creative process with such concerns. Instead, use them to actually get your ass up to actually start engaging in the work, and once you are in the process, forget and involve in it fully.
See it as a sacred practice, nothing less than your prayers or meditations.
Let the creative energy blast through your cells and rewire your irrational fears.
Productivity is a side effect of falling in love with the creative process. Once you had allowed yourself to be immersed and taken off, then you do not have to bother about imitating any productivity strategies. You will be living it just as you breathe and eat.
Transform the energy of envy, competition, etc into a creative force that can inspire each of us mutually to further ignite the creativity within all of us.
