Monday Prompt: How to Reclaim Emotional Intimacy

This I find so easy to do with my husband. My husband makes it easy. He doesn’t judge me, he truly listens to me, he hears me.

He may not understand my pain, but he understands enough to simply listen and not try to fix it. Most of the time. And most of the time is good enough.

There are some things he tries to fix, he’s not perfect, he has the same built in trait I do that makes in near impossible to not try to fix the things we think we understand. This is probably why he’s able to listen to the things he doesn’t understand and just be there to listen and love me.
