Dedication poem to Noma Dek

Toast To A New Friend Noma

Well the first thing that pops to mind is one of my favorite songs, “My Sharona.”

I feel this vibration between us as if I knew you a long time ago.

It’s telling me about the key to the palace and the map guiding us where to go.

Noma I trust you or I wouldn’t be writing you a poem.

It takes a lot for me to trust so please don’t see me as just another stone.

I hope you don’t take this wrong…it’s me who is in a dark place. I feel many have abandoned ship…when I wasn’t cool I simply wasn’t their taste.

I believe I have a true friend in you. A friend to guide me through the storms. A friend to pick me up when I am falling down and when the weather is warm.

I promise to be there for you…for there are only a few who in all sincerity are true. Just like a real friendship…you take care of me and I will take care of you.

Love,

Kira Dawn
