What have you done
In a world consumed by screens, where time stands still, A tale of mobile phones, I shall fulfill. Their allure is strong, their grip is tight, But let me uncover their darkened plight.
With every passing day, we sink deeper in their snare, Mobile phones, our constant companion, we can’t bear to spare. They beckon us with their vibrant glow, But beware, for their drawbacks, I’ll soon bestow.
Lost in virtual realms, we lose touch with reality, Fingers tapping endlessly, a digital fatality. Eyes glued to the screen, oblivious to the world, Neglecting human connection, as our lives unfurl.
A silent addiction creeps in, unseen, Society engulfed by a virtual routine. Face-to-face conversations, a forgotten art, As we communicate through screens, tearing us apart.
Sleep eludes us, as we scroll into the night, The blue light’s embrace, disrupting our restful plight. Insomnia takes hold, as our minds race, Mobile phones stealing sleep, leaving us in a haze.
Social media’s allure breeds envy and despair, Comparisons consume us, as we endlessly stare. Inflated egos, superficial connections, Mobile phones fueling a distorted perception.
Productivity suffers, creativity wanes, Captivated by notifications, we can’t break the chains. Time slips away, lost in a digital haze, Distractions abound, as we succumb to their ways.
But let us not forget, it’s in our hands, To wield these devices with mindful demands. To find a balance, reclaim our lives, To cherish moments, not through screens, but with our eyes.
So let us wake from this mobile phone trance, Embrace the world, take a stand, and advance. For in moderation lies the key, To free ourselves from their excessive decree.
