INT. DIRK’S ROOM — NIGHT

Dirk tosses the letter on his bed and pulls out his phone.

DIRK

Flori…?

Obviously oblivious, Flori doesn’t answer. The phone’s screen stares darkly at Dirk, reflecting his contorted face until he falls back onto his bed. After a moment, he drops the phone and picks up the letter.

Dirk spins the letter around before tearing it open. The outside of the letter seems typical. The Rose-Hulman letterhead is printed in one corner, and Dirk’s name is printed in the center. The insides that spill out are unusual, though. The envelope contains one piece of yellow note paper with a handwritten note scribbled across it.

DIRK (roughly reading)

Mr. Sharp…I’m a Neverland

employee assigned to keep an eye

on you…in case you try to harm Hereafter…

or if we need your help for any reason…

we have to talk…tonight…you will meet me at

the Bedford airport…1 a.m. sharp…

I’m sure you won’t be late…

Dirk looks up. For an unnerving moment, almost in the way that Rod does, he seems to look at you.

DIRK (scared and defeated)

She’s compromised.
