Misunderstood Words

May/June Writers’ Prompt #8

Ryan Fan’s recently curated post about comptrollers had me laughing out loud this morning.

This prompt challenges you to pick a word — ANY word — that you can twist and turn and come up with a funny story.

This exercise reminds me of Emily Litella. Who remembers Gilda Radner’s classic SNL character?

Put on your silly hat and pick a word! Have FUN and I look forward to what you create with this one!

FREE BONUS! Early 1986 interview of Gilda with David Letterman! And some cool history. They all look SO young. And Paul still had hair!

On the road to wealth and wisdom, there’s an imperative, some things that need to be done every day. Reading is one of those things.

It all starts with a reading list. Join me as I assemble a mastermind group. The group begins meeting on June 15th. The first cohort is now closed and the second cohort has limited spaces still available. Each cohort meeting date will be scheduled once that cohort is closed.
