misunderstandings
a poem and the reason why my life is a series of unfortunate but slightly comedic events
one time I called in to cancel my internet bill and they put me on hold for 36 minutes to then continue arguing me and encouraging me to hold on to the plan however I could even though I was insistent on canceling the plan
until to my genuine shock the customer service rep said “I’m done talking with you, you don’t understand how this works, please put an adult on the phone.”
and sure I sound like a three-year-old on the phone (or so I exaggerate) but I, 23 years old at the time can surely negotiate the end of my own contracts?
