Missing missing you
A before times love story
There are many things I miss But most of all, I miss missing you
In the before times, I hated leaving you I hated the 5am flight I resented waiting for my uber I loathed the fake-friendly hotel check-in I choked on the rubber breakfast eggs But when my day drew to a close When I finally found solace In a mini-bar sprite and a kitkat bar And snuggled one of the far too many pillows Carefully arranged on a bed as big as the ocean I missed you A reassuring twinge that reminded me That I loved someone who loved me back Enough to miss them
