Mismatched Love

Where I go, my past goes with me

“Courtesy of the Author”

In this life many mistakes I made

So many that even the account I lost

Hits, very few

But I lived.

I messed with my mom, I messed with my dad.

Where I go, my past goes with me

But it never opens its door

And my mother is already dead.

We walked side by side

Each of us with our own step

Now it’s too late

Memories remain

Nothing more. Just it.

I lie, as my mother used to say

Love also remained

Mismatched love

Love is love!

Even mismatched love

I just want to get it right

Useless

Today is present

Our history is already past.
