Mindfulness Mantra: Peace, Positivity, Protection

I believe in the power of prayer and positive energy.

Every morning I pray and meditate with mindfulness mantras to help center my mind and spirit.

For the next month, I’ve added the following:

Peace — To settle my mind, and give me, my family and friends peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) during this pandemic

Positivity — To keep me, my family and friends focused on our blessings great and small and to maintain an attitude of gratitude

Protection — To protect me, my family and friends and all the people on the front lines: medical professionals, grocery store, warehouse, foodservice, technicians and law enforcement from hurt and harm, and dangers seen and unseen during this pandemic

I don’t know about you, but I need this now more than ever. This gives me an anchor in our turbulent and scary reality. I notice a difference in the course of my day when I don’t start with prayer and meditation. I feel lost and unfocused — this grounds me…
