Sky filled white cumulus clouds Sun bathes earth in shining rays Peaceful feelings wash over me, Allusions of distant places, faraway With vibrant cultures, centuries old.

France’s distinctly Parisian flair Women dressed in haute couture Own uniquely French cuisine, Provence, centuries old Roman ruins Easygoing people, never hurried.

Remembering tastes of Spanish wines Served with varieties of endless tapas Embraced by warmth, friendly populace, Portuguese towns nestled in Algarve coast Faro, precious gem, Algarve’s southern tip.

Now returning to present moment Cumulus clouds begin fading away, Admiration for what is here right now Earth and culture bearing own uniqueness.
