“Millionaires Habits” Won’t Make You Rich, That’s What Will
Stop worrying about cold showers and focus on what matters.

Have you ever opened a book to learn something, only to realize that it will be full of bullsh*t?
This happens to me often when I try to read a modern finance book.
Those pages are full of hope and motivation, but they don’t teach you exactly what you need to grow your money or become better at it.
So when you finish reading, you are at the same point you were initially (not having a clue of how to get rich), but with a motivation in the clouds because some guru told you that anyone can achieve it.
They have stories of people they know who lived modest lives and achieved financial freedom. But they don’t tell you that that person earned $120,000 at his job.
They explain how this popular figure that everyone knows only wears black T-shirts, making you feel poor because you wear different clothes every day, but they don’t tell you that guy created an empire.
They help you believe that there is a path, but what they do is keep you busy.
For that reason, I’m here to tell you the truth: millionaire habits won’t make you rich.
Why following common ‘successful’ habits won’t make you wealthy.
Wake up every day at 5:00 AM, and you will feel better than most people — like if you know something they don’t.
You will feel that the day is longer and that you can do more things. This will give you a sense that you are doing good for yourself.
Like you have a superpower only because you can do it.
Start using only white or black T-shirts, and the same will happen. You will feel that everyone else is losing their time, and you are one step ahead.
That’s why those habits are pretty famous.
They make you feel that you are doing something for your future. And they make you feel like you are a significant person because you are doing the same thing as someone who is a millionaire.
But the reality is, they are just a way to make you feel busy.
No matter how much you get up at 5:00 AM, take cold showers, and eat healthy, you won’t find the secret path to money.
Making money requires more than a disciplined mindset.
It’s more about what you can do after doing everything above. And you can also totally achieve it without all of this.
So, what will make you rich? Learning about *real* money advice and doing the work.
You can be in shape by focusing on your diet and physical activity. You will begin to finish books when you start reading them.
And you will start to grow your money when you focus on the things that have to do with money.
You don’t make money just by getting up early. You do it when you wake up early with a purpose and do the work to achieve it.
You don’t make money just by taking a cold shower. You do it when you realize that you can make sacrifices, and you look for a way to do it with your money.
For this reason, motivational habits are good, but they are not what will make you millionaires, so it is not worth following them if you do not have a plan with your money.
If you want to learn how to manage your money, read a personal management book. If you want to learn how to make it grow, read a basic investment book. If you want to learn how to do more, read a business book.
Search for specific advice on what you want to achieve depending on the stage you are in financially.
And then, apply that actual advice to your life. Save, invest, grow, search for more income, repeat the cycle.
You will realize that it doesn’t matter if you wear dresses every day or decide to be spontaneous with your clothes, or if you get up at 5:00 AM or 10:00 AM, if you do what you have to do with your money, it will grow.
Becoming a millionaire is not about how many good habits or how disciplined you are, but how smart you decide to manage and grow your money.
Millionaire habits won’t make you rich.
They can help you be more disciplined, organized, and maybe will make you feel tired earlier (if you follow the get up at 5:00 AM advice).
But that advice alone won’t get you anywhere alone.
What will make you actually wealthy is learning how to manage your money, saving properly according to your possibilities, and growing your income.
If you don’t focus your attention on money, you will keep being busy but not really productive.
I stopped reading financial motivation books when I realized they were only useful for making me feel I could do it and showing me other people’s success.
