Midjourney v6 Portrait Inspirations with Prompt Examples — Edition #2
Here we go again!
I really enjoy messing around with portraits in Midjourney. The outcomes are just breathtaking, and I’m consistently blown away by how lifelike these people end up looking. Just be careful not to get lost in their eyes!
As always, I’m using Midjourney v6 alpha, and you can activate it easily by typing a double dash followed by “v” and “6.0” (--v 6.0).
Since the version 6 update, you can use more natural language prompts, which makes giving instructions to Midjourney easier. However, there are still a few guidelines to follow. Generally, start by describing what you want to create and how you want it to look, and then dive into the specifics of the setup, like style, camera settings, colors, and so on.

As usual, I’m sharing only unedited photos. I’m a bit dissatisfied with her right cheek; there’s some glitter that I’d like to remove. Nevertheless, the photo itself looks fantastic with a perfect composition.

This image is incredibly powerful. I’m still struggling to comprehend just how lifelike it appears and how intense the man’s gaze is.

Yet another impactful image. She exudes grace, yet at the same time, there’s a sense of distance in her appereance.

I decided to experiment with Midjourney by adding a prompt to make it look like a perfume ad, you know, those classy French perfume ads. The result is a prime example of how tweaking just one aspect of the prompt can make a significant difference. The guy on the right looks much more stylized and crafted to perfection compared to the left.
