Model personalization is a feature that David Holz, the founder of MidJourney, is really excited about. He has already talked about it quite a few times in the past — The goal is to tailor the MidJourney AI model to better cater to the preferences and needs of individual users.

  • How it works: it will use your image ranking history, your likes, etc., to customize your own MidJourney model.
  • David, who’s been testing it, noticed that his image results got way better — the ‘default aesthetic’ of the images was replaced with something that matched his taste.
  • And the best part? You will be able to turn it on or off whenever you want.
  • MidJourney users will also be able to share their own models and freely use models created by others — just as they can with the “Style Tuner” tool.
  • This model customization will greatly enhance the diversity of the MidJourney platform, moving beyond the default aesthetic and biases of the MidJourney model itself.
