[Midjourney] Using Midjourney for calligraphy
I always thought that typograph is not there yet in Midjourney. I tried to create fascinate letter design with prompts but it wasn’t successful for me.
However, Today my thoughts are totally changed. Midjourney creates awesome letters!!!
Wordmarks
One of the logo design style is ‘wordmarks’. These logos are purely textual, featuring the name of the company in a stylized typeface. Examples include Google, Coca-Cola, and Visa. They are effective for companies with a unique name.
I did some experiment with ‘wordmarks’ with “LOVE” and “Happy Birthday”.
Let’s see what I got. All of images are created with version 6 alpha.
prompt: Elegant Script Style ‘Love’ Wordmark: A wordmark of ‘love’ in an elegant, flowing script font, reminiscent of classic handwriting, with subtle heart shapes incorporated into the letterforms.
prompt: Watercolor Brushstroke ‘Love’ Wordmark: ‘Love’ written in a watercolor style, with the letters appearing as if painted with soft, flowing brushstrokes in a palette of romantic colors.
prompt: Retro Futuristic ‘Love’ Wordmark: A retro-futuristic design of ‘love’, combining elements of retro 70s design with futuristic neon, featuring bold lettering and a holographic color effect.
some errors I can see but mostly are perfect.
Let’s try longer word.
prompt: Elegant Calligraphy ‘Happy Birthday’ Wordmark: A sophisticated and flowing calligraphy style for ‘Happy Birthday’, perfect for a formal or adult birthday greeting, with graceful flourishes
letters are not correct but with another try I got this one.
It’s so amazing.
prompt: Watercolor Floral ‘Happy Birthday’ Wordmark: ‘Happy Birthday’ written in a soft, watercolor style, adorned with delicate floral illustrations intertwined around and within the letters.
For longer words, you need to try several times but it’s worth it.
I love this.
