It feels like an eternity since we had a Mid-Week Deliciousness prompt. That’s because it has! Almost a month. My apologies for the delay. Covid is a real pain in the arse to deal with. But now we are back and it is time to dive into a new prompt!

Remember — All Deliciousness prompts are about FOOD! Let’s head over across the pond for a UK experience!

The Challenge

Write a piece of micro-fiction (100-word story), a micro-poem (haiku, senryu, tanka, or cinquain) or a short form essay (under 150 words) using the prompt.

Tags to use — ‘Fiction’ and ‘100words’ for Fiction; ‘Poetry’ and ‘Haiku’, ‘Senryu’, ‘Tanka’ or ‘Cinquain’ for Poetry; ‘Short Form’ and ‘Essay’ for the Short Form essay.

Each piece must have a Title, Subtitle, and a correctly cited Image.

If you are writing a Short Form essay, remember to BOLD the first line.
