According to the calendar it is supposed to be Spring. It’s practically April. But when you wake up and get out of bed you realize that it is rather cold in your bedroom. Then you look out the window and to your profound dismay you see that everything outside is covered in snow and that heavy snow is pouring down.
You just experienced the longest, coldest and snowiest winter in the history of the world. Seeing that it is still not over, you are overcome with a tsunami of sadness. You feel hopeless, like you are stuck in some endless time loop and that WINTER WILL NEVER END. Tears well up in your eyes and you are about to cry.
This horrific experience can be very traumatic. It causes undue stress and anxiety which can lead to all manner of mental illness. You feel utterly hopeless.

- Close the blinds
- Turn off the alarm clock
- Get back in the warm bed
- And go back to sleep
