The situation is as serious s it gets, the courage is broken before a step is taken, steps are heavy ,eyes are raised towards the sky but eyelids drop due to an overwhelming regret ,hearing seeks to hear the words of hope but the words are dripping with fear, the taste buds want to compliment this delicious fruit but the senses are not answering, hands dare to rise up for a prayer but are unable because the words cannot reach my lips due to uncertainty.

I can see a bird sitting on a poplar tree from the window, He is praising Almighty Allah or he is chirping his complaints about the pitiful condition of poplar tree to Him, only Almighty knows.

It is not easy to understand what he says but he is in conversation with the Lord, I have a little idea of that.

Someone’s voice is echoing in the TV lounge.

“Yes, this is Mohi-ud-Din, in whose voice Allah has provided a charming attraction.”

The mind is content with the fact that “this what is appearing on TV is wrong.”

In a moment, the statement of Imam Ali (RA) comes to my mind:

“Don’t look at who is saying, look at what he is saying.”

Instantly my attention “goes beyond the thoughts of right and wrong.” He is saying “La Taq-natoo-min Rahmatillah” At the same time, he was repeatedly emphasizing on

Iqbal’s motto by quoting his poetry “Don’t be hopeless, hopelessness is the decline of knowledge and mysticism”.

I look at him with contempt on TV, but he is pointing out to me that Almighty doesn’t want us to be hopeless.

Gradually, thinking about his words, I am becoming acquainted with the infinite mercy of Allah …

Trying to give myself “hope”, now overwhelmed by my thoughts, I can feel the fear in my mind clearing up, I can picture myself and my friends busy chatting at this tea shop we are used to do, I have my biker friend inviting me for a bike ride on the street some distance from the hostel.

The words of hope are traveling towards the lips, the remorse of the eyes has been changed by the radiance of the mercy of His Majesty , the ability to taste the things has returned, the hands are waving very firmly in the air seeking Almighty’s bounties upon us all humans .

Those who were confined to their homes due to this epidemic some time ago, have come out on this road again today, the time of autumn is over, spring is on its way, the angels as well as human beings are busy again praising the Lord Almighty. The mosques are being filled with people, and people are becoming free to visit their religious places, scholars are teaching about brotherhood and fraternity ..

.

Hatred is being overtaken by love. Everything is getting back to normal and people are starting to feel less bad and less bad and less bad than before.

Now, I can see that people are going to thank the street cleaner of the neighborhood that their street is not a pile of garbage just because he used to go around every day to pick up garbage.

Yes, look, life, smiles, happiness, love and humanity are slowly returning some distance from the present time.

I know this pandemic has cost us all but it has also made us realize that we need much more than worldly things, that is we need each other. I hope this time of hardship goes away soon letting us all be safe and happy again but in a much better way.

Time will change and will change for better, I just hope some of us will learn from it.

See you on the other side where there will be no fear at all.
