FLORAL POETRY CHALLENGE FOR HOPE DAY 5

Merry Madam Mandevilla

How does your garden grow?

Over on the patio, Where no grass grows, In the large stone pots Are my Strawberry Rose.

Climbing up the trellis, Trying to reach the sky, Are my two sweet vines Fuchsia Pink Versaille.

Hiding by the garden wall, Shaded from the sun, With their brand new buds Are my Barbie Pink Fun

My garden now is joyful. Warm summer comes. Flower to flower, All the bees hum.

I am thankful to Tapan Avasthi and Arjan Tupan for leading us in this floral dance of celebration, hope, and welcome this week. Here are their latest contributions to our beautiful bouquet.

And for lagniappe and because I am very fond of literary heroes, a poem from Alex Kilcannon in honor of the original dashing hero with a mild-mannered disguise, The Scarlet Pimpernel.
