MelbCSS Meetup 6th September

This time was a MelbCSS meetup in 99Designs office and as usual I joined with my colleagues to learn and talk to CSS lovers. The first talk by Pranati Vyas about “Shortest CSS Fuse” how to learn and develop. Talking about life style of developers and specially css coders.
The second talk by James Formica about “CSS Playground” was also amazing. The simple things that maybe you like me always developed in the projects but never looked at them individually like making triangles or animations. That was absolutely fun and they way that James explained them made them more interesting.
The third talk by Aaron Vanston about “Getting excited about CSS Grid” was wonderful because CSS grid is one of the hot topics in Grid systems in web. The only issue still is the support of IE11 which is not as well as CSS FlexBox. However, obviously we are getting there sooner than what we imagine. The template system for CSS grid is extraordinary. I am not sure how we are going to use it or what are the limits and possibly downsides, but it is remarkable that we can change anything into the page and move things around by just CSS!
Thanks to organisers of MelbCSS.
