Life experiences with Gabriella

It is always wonderful to meet new people. Meeting people who you feel you already know is even more amazing. I met Trista Signe Ainsworth on the Medium writing platform and I have been reading her articles. Trista Signe Ainsworth is also one of the wonderful writers who are in the book project with my publication Dancing Elephants Press.

Trista Signe Ainsworth also owns her publication Thank You Notes. I love the beautiful photography she creates of her garden and food. I share the love of baking and nature with her. Trista also created some wonderful YouTube videos that are very inspiring.

I was fortunate to finally meet Trista Signe Ainsworth in person this past weekend in Portland, Oregon. I was on a road trip starting on a Friday going from Astoria, Oregon to Corvallis then Bend, Oregon, and to Springfield, Oregon to visit family and friends. My previous stop before meeting Trista was in Eugene.

We set a time for 3 pm to meet in Lake Oswego area. We kept in touch via WhatsApp and unfortunately, I arrived an hour late from our original meeting time because of traffic accidents. I kept Trista Signe Ainsworth updated on the situation and Trista Signe Ainsworth was very patient, flexible, and kind and waited for me. Our chosen location was in front of a restaurant/ bakery that was closing at 4 pm. I arrived two minutes before closing.

Trista was waiting for me at the front with a lovely tea and an assortment of baked treats from the bakery and she also brought lovely lemon macaroon desserts from her home that she baked for me to try. They were lovely treats and the lemon flavor burst out and filled my taste buds with joy.

Finally, after arriving and stepping out of my car I was high with anticipation. I had a feeling that I will just love Trista Signe Ainsworth. It was one of those moments in life like when I met Dr. Preeti Singh in Albany, Californa last month who is an amazing friend and writer, or when I virtually met Maren Muter a lovely author and metaphysician, and a more recent friend Bree Green who is a mother of five and a ceremonialist. I have to tell you about the amazing story of Bree in another article.

It felt like I already know Trista Signe Ainsworth and we had a wonderful and easy conversation, tried some of the baked goods, and went for a lovely walk around the neighborhood. There was a lovely sense of sisterhood and friendship that brings a smile to my face and joyful singing to my heart.

Trista Signe Ainsworth is full of smiles and joy and brings a lovely positive vibration with her. I am very grateful that I was able to meet her last weekend and hope we will have many wonderful cooking, baking, and nature adventures together in the future. I am also very grateful that Trista Signe Ainsworth takes time out of her busy life to write and share her wonderful experiences with us.

Trista also previously wrote a cookbook, and you can check out her book here. Learn more about Trista Signe Ainsworth from her articles on Medium and find her videos on YouTube and Tik Tok.
