She’s driven and a bit squirrely. She’s got lots of ideas. And she’s the creative force behind The POM, the 💗POMfam💗, and the POMprompts.

About Christina:

Christina earned her Bachelor of Science from Catawba College in 2007 with a minor in English and Writing. She was awarded the Creative Writing Prose Award while in attendance. While she’s written poetry since childhood, her true gifts weren’t fully developed until her college years.

Today, she is most known for her poetry and her work with poets around the globe in an editing and mentoring role. Her first poetry collection, organic: Fiddleheads & Floss Vol. 1, has been on and off the best seller’s list on Amazon since its debut in November 2019.

Christina found an early love for words with dark themes and writers such as King, Koontz, and Plath, while admittedly loving the complexities of Shakespeare. Today, Christina’s passion and purpose is to inspire people and to help people learn and grow through her work. Her writing, heavily influenced by the human experience and nature themes, has been loosely compared to the likes of Mary Oliver and Gary Snyder — however accurate or inaccurate — she takes those compliments to heart.

Christina works as a full-time freelance writer and editor for a self-owned company, Fiddleheads & Floss Writing Services.
