Meet McKartleigh: The First American Girl Doll To Storm The Capitol Building

created by the author

Meet McKartleigh!

Say hello to the newest AG Historical Doll, McKartleigh Ayn Jensen. McKartleigh is the first far-right American Girl Doll, and our first official AG Doll on the no-fly list! Her book series follows the Jensen family as they travel across the US in 2021, storming the United States Capitol and our hearts. McKartleigh shows young girls that they can accomplish anything, like treason. Enjoy our special sneak-peek excerpts from her first book, Meet McKartleigh.

Chapter one: Homestead

McKartleigh was out back reading her favorite book when Mother called her for dinner. The well-worn cover showed a picture of a glamorous woman under the words “Never Play Dead” and “Tomi Lahren”. “I won’t, Tomi, I won’t” McKartleigh whispered. She shut her book and ran inside, ducking under the familiar yellow flag with the snake on it that hung in the doorway, his jaws wide open. McKartleigh liked to imagine that the snake was laughing after hearing a really funny joke.

Chapter Three: Pizza Night

Trip Jensen burst into the house carrying a large flat cardboard box, a delicious steam rising up from under the top flap. All his friends and family called him Crow, but to McKartleigh he was still Daddy. Every Tuesday, Crow would take a special trip off their unlisted property into [redacted] Arizona, just to pick up a large meat-lovers for pizza night. “Pizza!” McKartleigh rushed to take her place at the table. Her brothers Tracker, Tanner, and little Crow (whom everyone called Trip Junior) were already clamoring into their seats. “Now, let us all thank God for the Pizza we have received” Crow began. “And remember, while you get to sit here and enjoy this meal there are children of Pizzagate who are less fortunate” added Mother. “Daddy, do the Clinton’s own the pizza shop in [redacted] Arizona too?” asked McKartleigh. Crow smiled gently “Nope, that’s the one shop they didn’t get to.”

Chapter Five: No Fair!

McKartleigh’s face was hot as she furiously typed at her computer. “Tracker says that they still won’t count all the votes for Trump that we found in that abandoned warehouse! All those poor people won’t get their votes counted, and now I’ll never get to meet Tucker Carlson. It’s just not fair!” “I know” replied Q, McKartleigh’s pen pal and best friend, “that’s like, completely unfair. Sorry, Kart.” “Thanks,” typed McKartleigh “you’re a really good friend. Q, how can people just make up numbers?” “They don’t make them up, they just make extra numbers, extra voters” “Extra voters? They have extra people vote?” “Yeah, like dead people, characters from tv, even dogs!” McKartleigh looked down at the Jensens’ hound dog Tag, who was joyfully tearing apart a sock. “Q, I don’t think I trust dogs to vote.”

Chapter Six: Roadtrip

Syndi Britlyn Jensen herded the whole family into the old dodge ram caravan. Does everyone have their things? “Yes!” cried the three boys, buzzing with excitement. McKartleigh unzipped her Jansport backpack and saw her cellphone charger, her rolled up “Be Best” poster all ready to be signed, and her red baseball cap, “Yep!” With that, Crow fired up the engine and the Jensens were headed to Washington.

Chapter Seven: McKartleigh Saves The Day

Woah! McKartleigh could hardly believe it, she was standing at the top of the steps to the Capitol building! The air was thick with joyful bellows and enthusiastic spittle. They were doing it! But wait, How could they get in? Where McKartleigh stood was so tightly packed, and so far from the door. A voice called out for folks to leave peaceably, and people started to look around discouraged. McKartleigh felt her heart drop into her stomach. Was she really going to have to turn around and go home to [redacted] Arizona? Just then, she looked up and saw a policeman in riot gear towering over her. He leaned down, and McKartleigh was sure he was going to grab her by the arm and drag her off the steps. Just then McKartleigh felt the heavy handle of a clear riot shield placed into her hands. The policeman gave her a little wink, and tipped his head towards the window on the Capitol wall. McKartleigh smiled a huge smile, gave him a nod, and hurled the shield into the shatter-resistant glass.

Chapter Ten: Home Again

The boys were asleep in the back of the caravan. McKartleigh watched out the rearview window as the Washington DC skyline faded into the distance. Crow was beaming and still recounting how he had “actually sat in Pence’s chair, and you know what? It was still warm.” Syndi gently nodded and continued to scroll through the footage she had posted to facebook. She glanced behind her at the young, seatbeltless girl. “McKayKay, you alright back there?” “Yes Mother,” said McKartleigh, hugging Nancy Pelosi’s laptop like a prized ribbon against her chest. She couldn’t wait to tell Q all about it.
