Medium Friend Membership? Yes or No?

I could earn 4x more per month! This is incredible!

I’ve just noticed a new option in my account. Currently, I’m a Member of Medium, but I have the opportunity to upgrade to become a Friend of Medium.

If we all become Friends, we writers could earn 4x more. That sounds great, right? Imagine earning $50 per month, but with Friends on Medium, you could earn $200. Or you already earn about $200 but with Friends, you could earn $800!!! That’s a significant difference.

But the question is: How many people will do it? Is it truly worth paying 3x the membership price?
