This one is going to be profound and easy for all. As I’ve seen, there are so many misconceptions about meditation in people’s mind.
I don’t want to clear those misconceptions because if something is working for you, then you must continue that in your life.
As I have explained a primary difference between Spirituality and meditation in my last article — In this, I am going to guide you; how you can add mediation in your life.
It doesn’t matter who you’re in terms of religion, including where you live and what you do? Meditation works for all and connects you with divine plus allows you to move freely in tough situations.
Caution;
Here I am not talking about your physical illness and other sufferings because they can’t be changed by meditation — only your mental stress and problems that you’ve created for yourself and continually creating new one’s that can be stopped by meditation.
If I talk about my meditational journey, then, I am practising meditation from last five years, and I’ve learned a lot of things about meditation.
So many people today are providing meditation guideline, and there are a lot of institutions out there to teach meditation.
These all institutions have named their methods plus they’re are commercialising their meditation technique.
To be frank with you — I want to tell you that there is no such thing as technique and method. Furthermore, there are no positions in meditation.
I want you all to put this in your head that meditation is a way of connecting yourself to the divine source of energy and for that, you don’t need any specific positions — It’s different from yoga.
You may be holding a lot of questions regarding mediation — don’t worry, I will discuss all.
Contents;
- What is meditation?
- The right time for meditating?
- How to meditate?
- The right place for meditating?
Before moving to the next section of the article — I want all the readers to try to implement these things in their lives after reading this article.
If you want to know these things works or not.
Lest’s start;
What is meditation?
In simple words, meditation is the way of connecting, to self and the divine.
You all know that India (Bharat) is the Holy Land and We have two things — Yoga and Yog.
The first one is pronounced as “Yo-Ga” which means the physical method of connecting to self by breathing exercises and by some physical sounds, like “Om” and some Mantras. It is also called Hatha Yoga.
The second one is Yog ( meditation): which means to connect or to build a connection with someone on a mental level. It can be with a person or with God (Divine source of energy).
So — from here, you can conclude that meditation means to connect with someone on a mental level and that allows you to receive his energy if he’s powerful and stable.
Like — you have got a connection with your child or with your husband or with someone you love.
In the same way — meditation means to have a loveful connection with God and remain in loveful remembrance of God (divine).
Here comes the question in which God remembrance? — The one who does not exist on this planet.
Since you know that; when you love someone, you create “loveful thoughts” for that person, and these thoughts create vibes; therefore, these vibes fill your mind and body with love, and you can notice that in your behaviour.
You all have experienced aforementioned.
Just remember this, your thoughts create vibes in your body, and those vibes affect your behaviour. I’ve explained this before use highlighted lines to reach that post.
Things involve in meditation.
Meditation only needs two things, you and your consciousness — you need to be very conscious regarding what you’re thinking — because meditation is all about “thoughts”.
It’s not about stopping thoughts process but to direct them in the right direction.
Why?
Simply because if your thoughts are not in the right direction than they destroy you, and that’s the reason we have so many suicide cases, including all the conflicts within the world all are because of thoughts.
People who fail in controlling their thoughts end up messing themselves, and meditation protects you from that.
Meditation is a way to dive inside self, plus, way of changing thoughts because thoughts are the source of your actions.
Every single person on this planet knows how to meditate — but the thing is they never tried by themselves; they just keep looking for others to navigate them.
According to my experience meditation is a very slow process with very effective lifetime results. Therefore you need infinite patience to transform yourself through meditation.
It’s not a seven-day course or a one month course that someone can sell to you. It requires involvement, sacrifice, plus infinite patience.
What kind of sacrifice is required for meditation?
You don’t have to abandon your home and people you love, for your meditation journey — as many people suggested in the past.
It’s the wrong way of addressing meditation — you only need to sacrifice your bad habits because your toxic habits are draining your abilities with time.
I know nowadays the world is full of toxic things, and being an addict is a fashion among people, that’s the reason you need to save yourself from toxicity because it’s dangerous for your mind and health.
All the problems that you have in your life are the results of your toxic habits.
What are these toxic habits?
- Comparison.
- Lust (for things and people)
- Laziness.
- Lack of understandability.
- Anger.
- Too many desires.
From the above list, you can easily conclude which you’ve, and what bothering you the most from a very long time.
You need to remove all those six things from your life if you wish to accomplish a contented life.
I don’t want to describe further because you already know that these are the worst enemies of your happiness.
The best time for meditation?
However, there is no such thing as best time because you can meditate whenever and wherever you want, but there are certain things that you must consider being a newbie.
For the newbies, concentrating for a long time is not possible, and meditation is all about concentration.
So you need to use the right time for meditating? What is the right time?
The right time is the early mornings between 4 am to 6 am; this is the best time on the planet and also defined as Amritvela (time of Honeydew).
Many scientists in their work mentioned the importance of Amritvela because during this time planet is in a specific position because of that it receives the highest amount of cosmic energy.
Which is suitable for a meditative person or a yogi — that’s the reason all the yogis (person who follows the path of celibacy) perform their sadhana’s in the mornings particularly.
I know that the internet is full of advice, and it’s hard to apply all those in your life — that’s why I am not telling you to apply it permanently — just try it for 7 days and analyse progress.
A newbie needs to meditate in the mornings because most people sleep during the morning — only nature awakes plus it’s peaceful during early mornings.
Not only this, but there are also fewer chances of disturbance in the morning because there are hardly any sounds of vehicles. Suppose you live near a highway that’s a different case. But mornings are the best for meditating.
Once you master the meditation, then you can meditate anytime, anywhere.
How to meditate?
A person needs to know the way of meditating as most of them are doing it wrong and getting frustrated because they’re not getting any results.
And now people are also taking the help of the meditating apps, as there are a lot of them available on play store and apple store.
As I’ve explained above that meditation is the way of directing thoughts, plus it allows you to focus which boost your soul power.
Only a few people know this fact because most people meditate on the “physical” level they never think about the “metaphysical” level.
Not because they don’t want to reach to that level but only because they’re not aware of that level.
First, you need to put this in your head that meditation is the solution for all your mental issues — if you meditate right and regularly.
So how to meditate to reach its top-level?
As I said before it’s not a one day journey, you need to be regular for a year to reach the top level plus you need to notice your progress.
The way for meditation.
Read these lines carefully — you know that every physical being has two aspects of life, physical and metaphysical.
Physical is called the “body” and metaphysical is called “soul”.
You need to accept that you’re a soul, and a soul has its powers and attributes which can only be awoken by consciousness.
Even your subconscious mind — which is the powerhouse of your brain is controlled by your “soul”.
You’re a soul, and you operate the body, including it’s functioning. That’s by people always say things like “you hurt my soul” and other stuff.
Meditation process;
Assume yourself as a “soul” a point of light resides in your forehead — and assume a supreme light is on above you and you’re receiving energy from this supreme light.
This supreme light is “God”.
When you start doing this, you’ll see results within a week. Therefore you’ll also find ways to make a relationship with God.
“Meditation is the loveful remembrance of God”
Keep this in mind;
For connecting with God you don’t need religion — you only need a conscious plus pure heart.
All methods that religions show us are kind of lame moreover if we have one God? then why we have different ways of approaching him including Why don’t he tells us a straightforward way.
The reason is God provided every human with this gift of connecting with him, but we don’t use it properly.
Only a few humans like Jesus, Swami Vivekananda, Gautam Budh and many other yogis used their conscious in the right way and approached to God.
But later we just made a religion out of them, why? Because we are sick people.
So you need to be aware if you want to achieve something through meditation.
The right place for meditation?
You only need a clam, clean and a high vibrated section of your home for starting days.
Once you mastered it — you can meditate anytime anywhere; furthermore, that is actual meditation — being meditative all the time.
So start your meditation journey today.
