Meditation Changed the Way I Cope With Anxiety

This self care tip is simple yet so important.

This past summer, I’ve been putting a lot of effort into meditating consistently. The process has taught me a lot, including the power of deep breathing. Now, I use deep breathing as a coping mechanism for my anxiety and it works.

Most of the time, I feel better immediately. Like most, I don’t put much thought into how I breathe. I’m used to my breaths being shallow and dusty.

But, girl, deep breathing is like an authentic Louis Vuitton bag — while regular, shallow breathing is one of those bootleg lookalikes from Ali Express.

In my ideal lifestyle, I’m meditating like three times a day, so hopefully, I can bring that to fruition soon — and spend less time watching this YouTube channel about a guy feeding his pet seagull.
