Maybe We Are No Longer Compatible

Attempting To Maintain Old Friendships

Photo by Jan Tinneberg on Unsplash

I want all of you to be in my life But you keep giving me reasons to say goodbye Again

Have you not grown at all in this last decade? Or are we simply no longer compatible?

Maybe I already know what it is And what it ain’t But at least I tried to give everyone A second chance But this may be my last glance On you all

I need a new squad People that elevate Instead of deviate And dissipate

No value comes from your lips Only inconsistency And little sweet nothings

Time is running out Before I say goodbye And I’m for good, out
