I read the text from Randy. It was about the 30K he loaned me. And why I had not returned his calls or text.
I knew Randy would be here any minute. I came down hurriedly and found my assistant Pete in the kitchen.
I said, “Pete, if anyone knocks on the door, tell them I am not in.”
“Are you going out, sir?”
“No, but that is what I want you to tell.”
The doorbell rang.
Pete took three steps towards the door. He froze and then fell down.
I sighed. When will they make robots that can lie?
