Marvel Announces New Spider Man Movie for Big Spidey Fans in 2021
Could the release of the Spider Man trailer be the reason for soaring AMC stock prices?
Marvel fans may have had their spidey senses tingling on Wednesday, June 2nd, when the new spider man trailer was suddenly available everywhere.
At the same time, according to CNBC news, experts continue to grapple with what exactly is causing the stock market to behave the way it’s been doing lately, particularly with regard to AMC stock prices.
Could these two things possibly be connected?
Good news for Marvel fans
If you happen to be a big Marvel or Spider Man fan (like me), what will this mean for the way you choose to view the movie this year? How many people will be headed to the theaters?
When will the next Spider Man movie come out?
If you haven’t already checked out the new trailer for the movie, I provided the video above, so you’re getting the info straight from the horse’s mouth.
The next Spider-Man movie will be titled Spider-Man: No Way Home
Hold on before you start grabbing your zu zus and wham whams to smuggle into the theater. The new Marvel film won’t be out until December 17th, 2021, but people are already going nuts. Just notice the hashtag in the above tweet, that’s already trending like crazy.
I must admit, I’m not immune to the soon-to-be obsessive hashtagers of #SpiderManNoWayHome and trust me, I’d like nothing better than to get my ticket early but…
That leads me to the question I want to ask all my fellow Marvel or just Spider Man fans (though I don’t know how you could only like Spidey).
I realize most of us tend to always make it a point to go to the theater and support the cause, by watching these movies on the big screen. But what about now, during this post pandemic era?
Will you feel comfortable going into a theater (perhaps for the first time in a long time)? Personally, I want to say yes, because watching the release of Marvel movies has become a family tradition with me and my adult son. Sometimes I even break out my gear to wear!
On the other hand, I’m 63 years old, and although I’m in good health, with no major health issues, I want to keep it that way. Even before the pandemic, I was always a bit of a germaphob (not sure if that’s a word, but it’s an adequate description of me).
I want more than anything, to be among the numerous diehard fans that go flocking back to the theater this December. But in all honesty, I’m not sure if I’ll be there the first day, or even the first week that the movie opens.
The only problem with waiting that long — besides my own impatience — is knowing that someone always ends up giving you a spoiler.
Is Spider Man the reason for AMC stock prices?
Whether I make it to the theater this December to see Spider Man or not, clearly thousands of other folks will be there. Smart everyday people who may have a little extra money to invest, are watching how entertainment trends affect stock prices.
Stock brokers and people in the finance world are not the only ones noticing the rise in popular entertainment companies like AMC. Since the country has began opening back up, more and more people (unlike chicken little me) are beginning to venture back out into the world.
This includes going to various types of entertainment venues, like movie theaters. That means, the upcoming Spider Man movie starring Tom Holland, is just the beginning. Marvel has a number of big blockbusters on the horizon in 2021, including:
Black Widow
Suicide Squad
Venom
Another big one is the highly anticipated Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings, featuring an Asian American superhero (actor Simu Liu). Can you say inclusion? That’s what I’m talking about. I’m super excited, and I can hardly wait. Way to go Marvel!
