Marriage: The Sacred Union
Marriage is incomplete without love, just as a day without sunshine.

“Marriage is important to give your love and feelings a meaningful, respectful relationship. It is when two people from different families decide to live together to start a new life together, forming a committed partnership and sharing their lives. They might have a special ceremony to celebrate their commitment. It involves love, responsibilities, and legal recognition.
Marriage is said to begin with Adam and Eve, the first couple in a religious story. God created Adam, the first man, and then made Eve from his rib to be his companion. Adam recognized her closeness, and that was the start of the first marriage, a special union blessed by God in many religions.
In the past, marriage was often arranged for practical reasons like family ties and social status. People didn’t always marry for love, and cultural traditions strongly influenced the choice of a life partner.
People get married today because they want to, often because they love each other and share similar values. Relationships focus on being fair and understanding, and they have the freedom to choose their life partners.
Marriage is important in different religions like Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism. Each has its special rituals, emphasizing commitment and family. They all see marriage as a spiritually meaningful union.

In Islam, marriage is crucial for faith and social harmony, marked by the Nikah contract and a ceremony emphasizing equal rights. Allah says in the Quran, ‘We created you in pairs’’ which means this commitment has already been decided. This union is not only for worldly life but also for the hereafter.
Marriage succeeds when people decide to be together because they want to, not because they’re forced. It works well when both are happy and make the choice freely. Forced marriages usually don’t lead to a strong and lasting relationship. So, being happy and choosing freely are important for a successful marriage.
Marriage without love is like a sky without stars, lacking the brightness that makes it truly special. It is like a song without a melody, missing the harmonious notes that bring joy. Just as the sun needs its sunshine, marriage thrives when filled with the warmth and glow of love.”
