March’s Seond Week Prompt of Lifeline
“When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies only in yourself.” -Tecumseh
The road of life is a challenging one filled with challenges. In life, we frequently lament the things we don’t have. Humans are beings that are constantly seeking out one thing or another. After we obtain it, its significance is lost. We are all trapped in this cycle of life, trying to satisfy our cravings continually, which causes us to worry and prevents us from finding serenity.
Therefore, being gratiful for things that we have can help you lead a peaceful and happy life. As I always say, gratitude makes life easier. It helps you feel positive emotions about life and helps in dealing with adversity which also helps in improving your overall well being. No matter, how the small thing is always be grateful for it.
This week’s prompt is,
Poetically describe a time when you were incredibly grateful. There could have been a time when you were appreciative for a simple thing, like a kind word from a complete stranger, or a big event, like the birth of a child or a chance that would change your life. Try to convey the feelings you had at that precise moment and why it was so important to you. A sonnet, a haiku, or free verse are just a few examples of the various poetic forms you might try out to express your ideas in a special way.
Choose to be grateful and it will be make you happy to live a life.
