Maple Lodge Farm Hotdog and Corndogs Products Recalled
Hotdogs and corndogs recalled by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled two chicken-based hot dog items and a corn dog product.
The affected products are being recalled from the marketplace because they contain pea protein which is not declared on the label.
The CFIA statement said the recalls are due to an undeclared pea allergen. While it isn’t a common allergen, CFIA notes the symptoms of exposure could be “life-threatening” to some.

What you should do
- Check to see if you have recalled products
- Do not consume recalled products to which you are allergic or sensitive as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction
- Do not serve, use, sell or distribute recalled products
- Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased
