Not every hero is made of flesh and bone
Today’s random word is Teach.
“What do you see?” Bill asked, overlooking the street below.
“I see humans,” the robot said.
“Look deeper. What do you see?” Bill pressed.
The robot observed. “I see a mother soothing her crying child. I see a man and a woman exchanging prolonged looks. I believe what I see is love.”
Bill nodded. “When you go into their world, they will hate you because they are scared. But you must teach them the opposite. You must protect them. You understand, Son?”
The robot blinked his eyes. “I do, Father.”
Bill heaved a phlegm-heavy cough. His coughs didn’t stop.
