Management Bug
By definition, a product roadmap is a high-level visual summary that maps out the vision and direction of your product offering over time.

A product roadmap communicates the why and what behind what you’re building. A roadmap is a guiding strategic document and a plan for executing the product strategy.
The absence of a product roadmap will impact the organization and the product development because the company will not be able to: - Describe the vision and strategy - Provide a guiding document for executing the strategy - Helps to set and clarify priorities - Facilitate discussion of options and scenario planning - Help communicate with external stakeholders, including customers (1) - Having long term plans help you make adjustments along the way - Connects the pieces of work into something bigger - Motivates the team to move on to the next step - Gives visibility to your stakeholders (2)
This multidisciplinary and agile approach helps develop innovative and customer-centric solutions that make users’ lives easier.
A product roadmap maps out the vision and strategic objectives for a product visually, making it easier for development teams to share and collaborate. It displays priorities and details how everyone will deliver against the vision and strategy. (3)
