Thrifty Words Theme Challenge #15: Transition

It seems so irresponsible to leave a child in charge. To watch them try and in distress, fail to navigate a complicated adult life. Yet that is what I do time and time again. It’s borderline inner child cruelty.

At 44 I’m still learning, still transitioning from child to adult.
