Time is the most important resource we have at our disposal. There are 1440 minutes in a day. That’s a lot of time that you have to go and work, go out, eat, play games, and so on. But what are you doing with it? Are you making the most out of your time? Yes? No? Maybe?

The majority of the time we spend is either eating or sleeping. What if you started to sleep an hour less and get another hour of work in for your small business. From what I have seen the most successful people in the world worked every day until they legitimately passed out from exhaustion, working every day from dusk to dawn. All day, every day until they achieved their goal. Many of us have a 9 To 5 job and work 40 hours a week and have a set schedule. But are you working outside your day job?

The real question isn’t how much time you are spending working. The question is how much time are you spending towards your future and your goals. Say that your goal is to write and sell a cookbook, or build websites for companies. How much extra time(Your free time outside the 9 to 5) are you spending towards your dream job or dream in general? Most of us aren’t working nearly enough.

Take me for example. I am working every day on my blog here, I am shooting and recording stuff for my podcast, and I am making other YouTube videos for my channel and this is all outside my day job that I work about 35 hours a week. I find time on my days off to relax and have time that I work on the things that are important to me. I do not want to just do background acting in Hollywood forever. I want to travel and speak to people at events and go on a book tour and more. I have so many dreams and I work every day towards them because I know that hard work will pay off in the end.

Trust me, we all can spend more time on our dreams and our side hustles that will get us to the place we want to be. But what is stopping you? Laziness? Distractions? Parties? Well, whatever it is I suggest that you sit down with yourself and find something else to do and think about where you want to be in 5 years. And if is not where you are now then you need to change your habits.

You CAN do this, Trust me. You got this.
