Making 6 Figure Pay is Easier Than You Think!
It’s all starts with the ‘difference’

Let me remind you, that your pay is determined by the skills and values you can bring to any organisation. And can be quickly calculated by a dollar figure in any aspects or type of job, such as;
- You provide value by increasing revenue through ‘Sales’
- You help the company’s productivity through maximising their time and efficiency; such as Administration, IT and or marketing.
- You help the company solve problems, when operations become ‘stagnant’ or margin levels are going down hill.
- AND or your creativity with innovation, that enables for continuous improvement in the company; such as scaling a product, an upgrade to the system or personnel strategies.
It ALL starts with your Mindset — if you don’t believe, you won’t receive
Rewinding back over 10 years ago, I was in high school and I was never great with studies. I felt that no matter how hard I tried to get this A+ through sleepless nights, staying back in school, studying in the Library during lunch break like the other smart students — it just never clicked.
What was more concerning was, my closest friends and family were disappointed, some were upset and others were quick to avoid having contact. This made me think that my life was going to be a failure and end up working in a restaurant or factory.
[During Year 12, I would work in a Tile Factory during summer breaks, and make about $700 per week — I thought that I was making good coin] Truthfully, that would earn you $35,000 per annum on a full time basis.
I also dropped out half way through University, studying Accounting — As I have been told I had no heart or desire to make it happen.
The Asian Parents had a saying — DELL
D — Doctor E — Engineer L — Lawyer L — Otherwise LOSER
I never understood what my parents and close relatives thought of me as I have moved out of home during year 11, with the reasoning to my parents that I had to learn independence. I would work at Maccas just to earn a living to pay for rent.
I wasn’t going to give in!
Earning my first $50,000 p.a Job!
Fast forwarding time, [2 years of time wasting] after countless of job applications, and failing so many interviews as I didn’t have both experience OR Qualifications. I landed my first proper job in Real Estate as a Personal Assistant/ Property Manager. The journey began— I was and still am appreciative to have been accepted to work in this small firm.
Little do I know of the industry, but I pledged to make it work. I still recall learning the booking system, room allocations, inspections and even housekeeping.
Wearing a suit and tie to work Monday to Friday, made me feel that I am slowly becoming a business person. [Seriously]
Don’t leave all your eggs in 1 basket
Whilst it was true in the 1980’s to YESTERDAY that, the advise you receive to stick to one job so that you receive the benefits of sick pay, annual leave and super. I found that is no longer relevant, if you are looking to fast track your career.
I remember my dad used to say, “Don’t just learn one thing, learn everything, get good at picking up additional skills as you progress — and not only think of mastering one!
After a year with the Real Estate company, I knew I required additional skills and was quick to hop onto a different job. [Yes, the young generation don’t stick to jobs long…] This time, though pay is very similar but I had the experience of working in Recruitment.
This was the beginning of corporate sales where Key Performance Indicators [KPI’s] were introduced and the pressure was on.
It wasn’t a surprise to me at all that I would be number 1 volume producer after 2 months, due to my competitive nature and continuous learning. Persistency played an important role also. I remember working up to 9 months and then.
I was headhunted to work for a Government body which delivers employment services. Challenge Accepted.
Different job, same pay — another day goes past
Seed was planted
Whilst I had thought I enjoyed my career progression though I knew something deeply inside me was missing. As I am aware that I did not follow the directions like most of my peers.
Anyways, I asked myself — Is it possible to make $100,000 per year? And my research began online. To find out many people are out there are quick to take your money but not deliver.
It wasn’t greed that motivated me to push forward, it was being able to have a sense of accomplishment, knowingly, being disadvantaged without a Qualification
[So I thought…]
Truth be told, if you do not write anything down as a goal, or have a strong sense of desire to get there. You will certainly not, as there are too many distractions in the world, and you are likely to forget. Stay focus!
It’s YOU over the Paper — that makes you credible!
Many of us are excited once we have graduated from University and ready to receive our first paycheck, wear that suit or tradie outfit. Regardless of your status and role, you need to know times have changed and people prefer working with someone who has great personality and can be trusted.
Hence the reason the Talent Acquisition team are quick to ask their current employees if they know anybody. As people associate with like-minded people right?
It took a big transformational step or growth if you will, for me to be at the level of where I am today at the age of 28. Though, I am not suggesting that I am ‘the best’ or successful than others — this is more or less my experience to encourage you that anything is possible.
Reading books saves you years and years
Now I don’t mean by reading Fiction books and you are on your way. NO! I mean Self Development, Finance, Upskilling, Educational and everything and anything to increase your skill level.
I don’t necessary enjoy reading books, and at first, I felt that this will be a complete waste of time. But I said that I will at least give it a shot.
You know what? As I read more and more books by gurus and financial literate people, my knowledge grew and so did my personality and character. What also followed was my income, I eventually found myself listening to an advice to work in Sales as it helps you learn people, grow a thick skin as they say.
I didn’t want to work for Real Estate [Don’t know why] but I chose to work in Carsales instead.
My income grew to $75,000 per year
They say with only a few disciplinary or industries that allow you to work for quite some time and your income increases. However, being in sales, your income is not capped and you are the person that determines what you take home — I like that most.
WIthout trying to bore you into the details, after 9 months… I upgraded myself into Auto Prestige selling BMW’s and boy did I enjoy the challenge.
6 Figure income achieved
You see, it has taken me 3–4 years to reach this goal, though I wish I had learnt other skills to get me there quicker but I am not dissatisfied of the results either. So, if you are in a position like myself or know of someone who is feeling down of themselves as they are not ‘smart’ like their peers.
You will be surprised what else is possible.
Keep learning
To date, I now enjoy a Full Time Professional Career whilst also running my Coaching Business I started since 2017, which was when I started in the Sales industry.
I am no social media expert or understand how it all works as I was against all this a while back. In fact, I was once upon a time an introverted person.
Now I am experimenting on Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Final tip, never stop your actions because of what one or another has said. It is there opinion and ultimately, it is you who control your own destiny. Be the BOSS of your own life. Stay safe and peace.
