When you think about using you car to make money you’re probably thinking about being a driver for Uber or Lyft transporting people to their destination.
Or, you might think about being a food delivery driver where you pickup and deliver restaurant takeout or grocery orders for companies like Doordash or Instacart.
The truth is, there’s another way to make money with you car.
It doesn’t require picking up people, food, or things. No delivery whatsoever, in fact.
And you do it passively.

Make money with carvertisements
Carvertisements or car advertisements are those stickers or decals you might have seen on vehicles as you drive around town.
There are different ones from decals that cover your back window, stick onto the side of your car or a full car wrap where it looks like you’re a driving advertisement.
There are companies that pay car owners to put these ads on their cars and you can make up to $1,000/month with it passively.
All you do is drive as you normally would, whether it’s to work, school, running errands around town, etc.
Your regular routine.
And you make money for showcasing the brand’s ad on your car.
How to get started with carvertisements
First, find a company to work with.
There are several available, all free to join and all you do is sign up and fill out your profile with your car info to determine how much you can make and if you qualify.
The requirements vary from program to program but generally they are looking for drivers that are at least 18 years old, newer vehicles (10yrs old or newer) in areas that are populated.
For example if you have a 25-year old truck in a city with a population of 100 people, you may not get picked up for a campaign.
But again, the rules vary based on the company you join.
Here are some to get started with:
Carvertise
Carvertise serves customers nationwide. Your car must be a 2008 year model or newer and drivers should have a clean driving record.
You can earn a monthly income working with them, placing an ad on your car and making from $450 to $1,500 per campaign.
After you apply to join, they will match you with a company, get your car wrapped and then pay you monthly via direct deposit. When the campaign ends, they’ll take the car wrap off your vehicle. Easy.
Nickelytics
Nickelytics will pay you monthly as well.
You get their app, signup, fill out your profile and then get matched with a company. Then you’ll get your car wrapped and start earning money.
Campaigns pay up to $500 and they’re looking for drivers with a clean driving record, with cars no older than 10 years old, and driving a minimum of 30 miles a day (other requirements apply).

Wrapify
Wrapify pays you up to hundreds per month for car wrap advertising.
You download their app then, drive your normal commute (daily routine) so they can learn about your driving habits. From there you can be matched with a company and start earning money.
I love the calculator they have which tells you how much you can potentially make based on the car wrap option you get (like a partial wrap or full wrap).
