Magic Moments
Inside Hawaiian Sunsets

Full Moon Rising
Tropical thermals rising and drifting past at day’s end. Projecting into the sky I see a Hawaiian Chief in a royal procession with a full moon rising.
Life is on pause for this moment of reflection and gratitude to witness this magnificent sight. It happens every day if my conscious awareness is open to nature’s grace and lingers long enough for me to be one with nature’s theater of light, sight, and color.
A full moon always rises almost to the minute of the sun setting. Our sun’s light will be visible throughout a wonderous day and a dream-filled night.

Chakras in the Sky
It only lasts a few minutes before disappearing into the twilight of the day. It fills my heart with joy for the day is done and dream time is close at hand. Loving this precious moment takes me gently into the night as memories will dance until morning’s light.

Messages Heaven Sent
Fading images and stories in the sky tell me how precious and fragile this life is. The impermanence of all life is just one breath away from another dimension. Nothing brings that closer to a heartbeat than a sunset transiting across the Earth’s horizon.

Touching the Invisible
Light is as invisible as our thoughts until it reaches its destination. If not, it travels through the infinity of the cosmos forever seeking a form to touch.
Sunrises and sunsets are curtain calls for the day to begin and end. Although the colors light up my heart, it’s the life source energy that is felt as colors and forms race and then fade across the sky.

Strangers Celebrate
Living on Maui we witnessed the sun setting from a small rise overlooking a long sandy beach. Visitors from all over the world would gather at the water’s edge and stare out into the ocean’s reflection in the sky.
Most were standing side by side anticipating the mysterious split-second green flash as the ocean mythically swallows the sun. A chorus of cheers could be heard by those who did not blink.
Hundreds of people became one in a moment cherished by all. If a sunset can inspire us so, I wonder why loving one another can be so difficult throughout our day.
Blessings, for inside sunsets there’s Hawaiian aloha magic to see, touch, and gently hold.
