Magic: Demystifying and Unveiling It’s True Power and Presence in Our Lives

The quickest way to lose your power is to believe that it never existed in the first place.

We have come a long way from religious indoctrination and dogma that fueled our elders.

While various metaphysical and spiritual concepts have become widely accepted in the West, an aspect of spirituality hides in the shadows.

Why do we readily embrace things like yoga, meditation, and astrology and yet detest heavier spiritual concepts like sorcery, the occult, and a plethora of other Left-hand-path spiritual teachings?

The answer is simple, programming.

We have programed ourselves to fear and demonize the things we do not yet understand,

(Religion of course, plays its hand in the illusion.)

We live in the land of illusion and things are hardly ever as it seems .

What is Magic?

I want to direct our focus on a particular topic found in darker spiritual systems and Occult philosophies.

Magic

When I say Magic, I do not mean as Hollywood portrays it in the movies, but Magic as a practical tool for self-mastery and self-development.

A brief definition of magic as it was explained to me by a seasoned sorcerer and practicing magician should fit here:

Magic is the act of causing change on any plane (physical, mental, emotional, astral, etheric, and spiritual) Using the will.

There are four main components to every magical act:

A strong will, or desire to cause a change.

A clear intention of exactly what that change will be.

An Unwavering Belief in ones’ ability (or faith in the execution) to accomplish the desired end.

A course of action to ensure the achievement of the desired aim.

Most don’t consider that causing changes in the mind, body, and outside circumstances is just as much magic as the changes caused on the astral or etheric planes.

Thus, setting a weight goal and working on your emotional regulation takes just as much magical muscle as a Ceremonial witch’s full moon Goddess ritual.

The Importance of Magic in your spiritual and mundane world

Have you ever heard the saying,

“If you don’t use it, you lose it?”

Key points to consider and remember.

All energy, if left unmanipulated will go back into its natural state- chaos.

The manipulation of energy is what causes change to occur on any level.

Manipulation of energy, therefore, is MAGIC at its core.

So, what happens to those who do not realize their life is nothing more than a magical ritual?

The energy that once could have been used for powerful changes begins to turn in on itself, returning into undifferentiated potential from where it came, formless and without limits- an eternal void, also known as chaos.

The outcome of this unmanaged energy is the absolute destruction and chaos of one's life.

Depression, instability, disharmony, disease, poverty, abuse, and a whole slew of life's woes follows when one refuses to participate in the Magic of their life.

Energy is everywhere, and where there is energy, there is a need to manipulate it.

The Presence of Magic in Your Spiritual and Mundane World

Magic is everywhere!

Magic still holds a dark and taboo essence, stifling its powers and preventing the average person from reaching their full potential.

Yet, regardless of the egos’ spiritual, moral, or religious standpoint, we all partake in some form of it every day (knowingly or unknowingly.)

As multidimensional beings of power and divinity, Magic is inherently in us.

Magic is the source of our power.

The only difference between a self-proclaimed magician/sorcerer, witch, spiritualist, manifester, and an average person is their method of magical practices and the terminology they use to describe it.

In other words, we may call our practices by different names and use different approaches, yet it is the same powerful current running through it all.

To the manifester, Magic is aligning their vibration to their intended desire.

To the nature witch, Magic is gathering certain spices, herbs, and crystals corresponding to the desired outcome and setting up a spell.

To the chaos magician magic is creating a sigil, imprinting it on their subconscious mind, and projecting that subconscious image (microcosm) onto the Universal mind(macrocosm).

A Christian uses their Magic through words of power called prayer, petitioning up to the heavens, the domain of their God.

To the ordinary Women or Man, Magic is a vision board.

The everyday man may also use his magic through a great deal of will power, focus, and mental strength.

He will align himself to his new identity through daily activities and actions until he morphs his consciousness with his ideal self, causing a new person worthy of obtaining all he desires.

Demystifying magic and unveiling its true power in our lives

If seeking perfection , liberation from self imposed bondages, and living a life of passion and purpose is the mission of the soul incarnate, then magic was the tool given to us to complete this mission.

Magic is willing internal and external change in all realms by manipulating energy through various means.

Are there candles, drumming, music, chanting, visualization, incense, and peculiar images of ancient Gods and Goddesses involved in magic?

For some of us, yes, all these things are included.

But Magic, in all simplicity, is singing your favorite song in your car on your way to work because it raises your vibration and puts you in a better mood.

Magic in all simplicity is showering with lavender and chamomile to cause deep relaxation.

Magic is also creating offerings to the Goddess of wealth to increase your income.

When we can fully accept all abstract, esoteric, and metaphysical aspects of our mundane existence and comfortably merge the two, we can learn to walk in our power effectively.

You can be sure of this one thing:

Wherever there is change, there is a manipulation of energy.

Causing energetic changes by use of the will on any of the planes of existence (Mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, astral, and etheric) is by its very nature… Magic.

The only thing to fear concerning magic is the inability to see it woven throughout the fabrics of our Universe and in your life.

For what you cannot see, you cannot manipulate or change.

(Stay tuned, we will continue to go deeper into magic as a practical art and self-development tool for self- development and self-mastery)
