Summary

The article discusses the bipartisan benefits and reception of the American Citizen Coronavirus Relief Act, which provides substantial financial aid to a majority of Americans and states, regardless of political affiliation.

Abstract

The American Citizen Coronavirus Relief Act, a $1.9 trillion economic stimulus package, was passed with only Democratic support, yet it extends aid across party lines. It includes direct payments to individuals and couples, unemployment benefits, and funding for states and COVID-19 vaccine distribution. Despite Republican lawmakers' unanimous opposition to the bill, some are taking credit for the benefits it provides to their constituents. The article notes the irony of MAGA supporters, who often criticize Democrats, being willing recipients of the aid. The stimulus package is a significant addition to the national debt but is deemed necessary to support those financially impacted by the pandemic. The article also highlights the efforts of President Biden and his administration to unify the country and provide assistance to the American people amid a range of challenges.

MAGA People Will Be Happy To Take The Money

They will be recipients

They continue to condemn Democrats

Although the bill called the American Citizen Coronavirus Relief Act was passed only by Democratic support, it will not benefit only Democrats. Of course, many Republicans, including possibly most MAGA supporters, will receive money and benefits as well. It was reported that ninety per cent of households will receive stimulus checks. States will receive money to benefit everyone. COVID vaccine shots will be for all the people as well.

The news reported that some Republican members of Congress are already taking credit for the stimulus money which will help their constituents.

Even though Trump is gone, the Republicans were unified in their refusal to join Democrats to pass the bill. The Democrats had hoped it would be a bipartisan effort with at least some Republican support. That did not happen.

It is a huge amount of money. Most people can barely comprehend an amount of $1.9 trillion. The ten richest people in the world have a combined net worth of over $1 trillion, but it is an unbelievable amount of money in the view of most people. It is a lot to add to the national debt, but many people obviously are hurting and need help.

Utah Senator Mitt Romney had wanted to limit the payments outlined to give to states. He said states with healthy economies such as California and his home state did not need that aid and should not receive the money. Of course, they will accept it. He was trying to reduce the total cost of the bill.

The stimulus money will include payments of $1,400 to individuals who make $75,000 or less. It would be double that for couples who earn up to $150,000. People who made more than that probably do not need the help. A lot of those people have been working from home and continuing to receive paychecks throughout the pandemic. The unemployment benefits will help a lot of the people who really need help although it is difficult to assess whether or not people may abuse the system.

People should be thankful that they are doing well during the pandemic if they do not need assistance. The $1,400 equates to $2,000 per person minus the $600 amount that most people received not long ago.

Whether they need it or not, the MAGA people who made less than $75,000 will undoubtedly be happy to accept the money. These are people who express hatred and disdain for Democrats and President Joe Biden, but they will not turn their backs on the money.

There are also MAGA Republicans who will be receiving unemployment benefits.

Their Republican representatives refused to support the bill. Not wanting to raise the national debt that much is understandable, but many people in the country are suffering and needing help. That includes their constituents.

That amount of money is a lot to pay back, but it seemed necessary for assistance to many Americans.

It is amazing to hear so many millionaire television personalities speak out about the economic help needed by people hurt by the pandemic. These super-wealthy people, along with many rich Democrats in Congress and the public, show that they have concern for their fellowmen who are not in the same financial state as they are. They seem to have compassion for others who may be hurting financially because of the pandemic.

Millions of people have already had the COVID vaccine administered to them. Many have received both shots, and some are now getting the Johnson and Johnson one dose vaccine. People are not being charged for the vaccine. That is part of this bill. No one is asking if those getting the vaccine are Democrats or Republicans. Everyone is being treated as fairly as can be expected. Some people are complaining about certain minority populations having problems with getting the vaccine, but it has been rolling out quite effectively so far.

President Biden stepped into the highest office in the country with a multitude of problems. He and those who are working with him are doing their best to help the American people and try to unify the country. That is a hard task which is a huge undertaking.
