What's Madonna Age Got To Do With the Instagram Ban on the Female Nipple?
The 63-year-old pop icon singer's female nipple exposure was deleted on Instagram.
Is Madonna too old to be doing this? Doing what? I ask anyone who is asking.
The pop icon is trolled on social media. One has to check Madonna Instagram account to see the vitriol comments fans and trolls leave whenever she posts photos that they deem inappropriate for her to share on her own social media account.
And by the way, Madonna is 63.
Do you think Madonna cares? Or what gives you the right to tell a grown-up woman what to say or what to post?
Most people will not say it out loud, but they think Madonna is old and must act her age.

While not everything Madonna does, says, or posts should be left alone, there are occasions that she has been tone-deaf, like when she paid tribute to Aretha Franklin.
Or when she posted a video tribute to George Floyd, that didn't do well either.
When she posts photos of herself, we have a choice. We can always swipe away without leaving a comment that makes us ageist.
A photo on Madonna Instagram account showed a picture of her which revealed one of her nipples.
And Instagram, true to their community guidelines, removed the photo. Madonna then reposted the post as shown on the photo above, with this caption.

It is still astounding to me that we live in a culture that allows every inch of a woman’s body to be shown except a nipple. As if that is the only part of a woman’s anatomy that could be sexualized. Instagram, which is part of Meta, the company behind Facebook, don't see anything disturbing with all the misinformation prevalent on its platform. Still, a little display of the female nipples and your account can be permanently banned like what they did to Micol Hebron, 47, an interdisciplinary artist in Los Angeles.
It is incredible how male nipples are welcome on Instagram. The double standard is astonishing.

But as you can see from the article on The Verge as far back as 2016 and the censorship experienced by the Madonna Instagram account, the social media platform is not about to change anything on the Instagram community guidelines.
Madonna is being shamed for being old
50 cent who is Curtis Jackson in real life, decided to make fun of Madonna by posting this on his Instagram account.
“Yo this is the funniest s-t LOL,” wrote 50. “That’s Madonna under the bed trying to do like a virgin at 63. She shot out, if she don’t get her old ass up.” — 50 cent.
He has since offered an apology after Madonna didn't take his misogynist comments to pass by posting a photo of them together on her Instagram account.
Aging in Hollywood
Little has changed. What works for the men doesn't apply to women. Madonna's age remains a trending topic, not because people want to honor her achievements through the years as an artist, but to shame her whenever she does things some people believe should be left for the young.
Today, Madonna is dating a younger man, a man who is 35 years her junior, and when she posts photos of them together, some people will point out that she is no longer her 20-year-old self.
