A Poem About Social Media, Don’t Judge Me; My opinion is changing.

This world has become so advanced with technology and how we communicate, learn, and become so invested that our life span is dependent on whether our phones are pulled in or of someone sent a notification of our existence saying that we matter to someone.

Whether it’d be social media telling us that someone liked a picture or post Letting us know that we are validated by single or multiple pushes of a button signifying likes, hearts, or comments.

The stigma that social media can show everybody how perfect, glamourous everything is.

With the constant filters and makeup covering our true authentic self.

Facebook was a platform for reconnecting with old, new, and maybe once forgotten relationships.

Upon recently, this forum of recreating connections with long-forgotten people has become a place of ugliness, gossip-filled, a non-private exposing place for people to virtually call out people for any unnecessary drama that needs to addressed face-to-face or not at all; because it’s none of your business to.

By exposing the dirty, smelly, mold-filled aspect that is the past of your life, you are destroyed by the can of worms that spreads the door wide open to people’s opinion about a or your situation that should not have been opened, talked about, a stream of unnecessary conversation that is the private business of them, not you.

Twitter has been an alternative way of getting news about politics and issues in other places worldwide. A place to call out the rent-free, bottom-feeding haters(Trolls) eh have nothing better to do than shame someone for being themselves.

It became a place for an egotistic people who don't have enough ‘characters’ to show their tiny size penis to the world.

You can now market yourself as a brand, sell products, and make a social media career.

Our brain is programmed and dependent on our phones' survival and notified validations that we purchase these devices that easily distract us from our jobs/careers no related to social media.
