Luxuriating in the Subtleties

They are everywhere!

Closing my eyes, the sound made by untold thousands of leaves being blown across a cobblestone street sounds exactly like rainfall. The only thing missing is water.

Have you ever listened to the very subtle sizzle sound a hot knife makes as it slices through cream cheese?

We all know the thrill of popping bubble-wrap but when you take a bubble bath do you listen to the popping of soap bubbles?

How much do you luxuriate in the subtleties?

The more we see, the more there are to see. The more we rejoice in the subtleties, the more we notice and the more our awareness shifts.

We have been conditioned to maintain a singular focus. All eyes straight ahead. But we miss so many subtleties with that narrow vision. We cannot rejoice in a subtlety if we do not even notice it. If we are open to them, subtleties can widen our spectrum of awareness, leaving us open to so much more joy.

We all want more joy in our life, right? Joy feeds our life spark and drastically raises our vibratory frequency. It is very beneficial for our overall health.

At any moment there are countless subtleties in our immediate environment, all of which can provide an opportunity to rejoice. We just do not rejoice enough. We are out of practice.

Notice and feel the subtleties. Embrace them. Feel those brief moments of joy.

Rejoice!
