Loving Yourself Unconditionally
Loving the body you’re in…
I scribbled this activity down years ago. It really resonated with me.
Activity: Look in the mirror for two whole minutes. Set a timer. You can do this unclothed if you’re comfortable enough. Really soak it in. Remember, you are a beautiful human being just the way you are. Try this exercise once a day for a week. You’ll be surprised by the results.
Unconditional love is extremely difficult. Many of us spend our lives judging ourselves and measuring our accomplishments against those of others.
And when it comes to the concept of love, our minds instantly go to the idea of loving other people. Perhaps we think of our partners or our family members. And the idea of loving ourselves goes by the wayside.
But we can look at these feelings as an opportunity to better ourselves.
This is an opportunity to love ourselves as is!
